There are two types of advertising in Bixobal:
- The classified section offers an inexpensive place to list:
- records/instruments for sale/trade/wanted
- tape trading
- concerts/tours/venues needed
- calls for work/demos available
- random messages and more
- Traditional box ads provide a little space for labels, venues, shops, mail order companies, record dealers, etc. to design their own advertisement.
ADVERTISING RATES:
classified:
$1.50 insertion fee for the first line
$0.50 each additional line
26 characters per line
box ads:
$100 for a full page [4.5" wide x 7.5" tall]
$60 for a 1/2 page [4.5" wide x 3.75" tall]
$35 for a 1/4 page [2.25" wide x 3.75" tall]
$20 for a 1/8 page [2.25" wide x 1.875" tall]
full color by special request - must be a full page - contact for a quote
please submit artwork as TIFF, PDF, or EPS with a resolution of 300 dpi
all files should be converted to grayscale (except full color back cover)
convert all text to outlines or embed fonts
include all images
save your file in Mac format if your application gives you that option
please send files zipped if possible
PAYMENT:
All advertisements must be paid for in full before they are run.
Payment can be made via check, money order, cash or PayPal.
Please via email to be assured of space in the issue.
DEADLINES:
All materials and payment should be received by September 26th, 2008 to appear in the fifth issue.
All materials and payment should be received by December 26th, 2008 to appear in issue 6.
Advertising space is limited, so the sooner, the better.
DESIGN:
If needed, I can design your advertisement for you. Extra cost will vary depending on what you need.
Advertising space is limited and I reserve the right to refuse anything I think is inappropriate (you know indie rock, escort services, pyramid schemes, etc.).
